Pauline Johnson – Paraprofessional/Intensive Aide

Education: High school Graduate. UAS/Undergraduate.

In my early years I was employed with the City of Angoon. I went from the Receptionist to Acting City Clerk. I worked there for sixteen years. During that time, I then became involved in organizations. I started volunteering for departments in 1995. I started working with children under the Angoon Volunteer Fire department. I geared more towards preventions, which lead me to doing Fire Safety Lessons with the Preschool children. I really enjoyed the position I was in. I truly believe that all my volunteering helped me get into the position I ‘m in now.

Responsibilities at Chatham School District: Pauline first began as an Paraprofessional/Intensive Aide in 1997. I work with multiple agencies which link to the position I’m in. AND Implement our program into a regular school curriculum.
