We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of several of our Angoon students from See Stories, a class led by Mr. Seth Bader, who have made significant strides in their respective fields.

Johnny Hunter, recently wrapped up a paid project with The Northern Journal, an Alaska-based news outlet, where he a captured powerful image for an article addressing the loss of fishing fleets in Native communities. His exceptional work has garnered widespread attention and was featured in Anchorage Daily News and several other prominent media outlets.

Additionally, we are excited to announce that two of our talented filmmakers, Angel Jack and Justice Duncan, have had their films accepted into the prestigious Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF). Both of their films, which were completed this fall and focused on the Angoon Bombardment Apology, stood out among a record number of applicants. This spring, they will likely have the opportunity to showcase their work in Hawaii, celebrating their talent on an international stage.

Please join us in congratulating Johnny, Angel, and Justice on these incredible achievements. We are immensely proud of their success and look forward to their continued growth. Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support of our students.
