At Klukwan School, we begin our mornings together with Circle, a time to connect as a school community and start the day together. Most Thursdays, Jack Strong joins us for Circle, sharing storytelling, drumming, music, dance, and cultural traditions with our students.
Jack’s visits give students opportunities to listen, participate, ask questions, and experience culture in a personal and meaningful way. Having community members share their knowledge and experiences is an important part of learning at Klukwan and helps ensure that cultural knowledge and traditions continue to be shared with the next generation.
We are grateful to Mr. Jack for volunteering his time and sharing his knowledge, talents, and traditions with our students. His presence has become a valued part of our school community, and we look forward to welcoming him each week.
