Klukwan School

Tracy Wirak-Cassidy, the Education Coordinator from the Takshanuk Watershed Council works with the students, and Justina Hotch, the STEPS coordinator, to monitor the weather and Chilkat River conditions, through a citizen science program called Stream Team. Students observe and record cloud and weather patterns as well as river temperature and turbidity in an effort to promote an understanding of our local environment.
